What is included in the price?

Is there a minimum length of stay?

Yes there is minimum length of stay in our apartment, it’s restricted to a 90 day minimum stay. Please contact us for all enquiries.

(*reason is that it’s not allowed by Brussels goverment law to rent out for tourist stay < 90 days)

What is your apartment like?

Our furnished apartment is housed in Brussels most attractive building Up-Site. Fitted with stylish and modern amenities. It comes with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom. Our apartment come with complimentary wi-fi, flat screen digital TVs and iPod dock, dressing, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, washer/dryer facilities and local information & welcome pack.

(a weekly maid/linen service is not included in the standard price)

Can I book on the name of a company?

No we only allow bookings on a personal name for medium and long contracts.

Yes when booking for short periods (<1year) and using AirBnB Business travel.

Can I preview the apartment before making a booking?

Yes, if you would like to view, we can make the necessary arrangement. However,if the apartment is occupied, some guest will not allow a viewing as they want to respect the privacy. Others guests will need to notified by giving 24 or 48 hour notice.

How and when do I pay for my apartment?

All payments are required prior to commencing your stay. Further details on payments can be found in our terms and conditions.

What are the upfront costs to rent your apartment?

Rent paid in advance.

Security deposit of 2500€  for stays up to one year.

Security deposit of two month rent for stays over one year.

What is the Security Deposit?

The Security Deposit is kept as a guarantee to protect the owner. It will be returned to your bank account if there is no damage to the property and all bills are paid. The balance can be transferred to an overseas bank account by request. However, the bank transfer charges will be charge to you.

For long term contracts, we use a blocked account on the name of the owner and the guest.

This will be refunded in full shortly after departure, but guests should be aware that they are liable for damages or breakages caused whilst staying in the apartment.

For short term contract, AirBnB Business is blocking an amount of 2500€ on your creditcard.

Do you offer an airport pickup service?

Yes. The driver will meet you at the customs exit with your Name Board.

Can I extend my stay?

The contract can be extended when the apartment is available. However Belgium law only allows us to extend contracts <3 year rental, maximum one time.

Is there internet access?

We provide complimentary Wi Fi + UTP/LAN in our apartment. It’s high speed fiber optical internet (by Proximus).

How many people can stay in your apartment?

Our two bedroom apartment cater for up to 3 guests. However, our apartment second bed room has a single fold-out bed to accommodate a fourth person.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Our standard check-in time is 2.00pm on the day of arrival. On your departure day, check-out time is 10.00am. Subject to availability, early check-ins and late check outs are sometimes possible, and charges may apply.

Reception is working from 07.00am until 09.00pm.

Is there parking available?

Yes we have our own private secured parking under the tower at level -3! 

Can I bring my pet?

As a general rule, we do not allow pets.

How do I make a reservation?

Reserving an apartment couldn’t be easier. This can be done on this website by viewing our apartment and checking availability. Alternatively, you can contact us on bookings@akenkaai69.brussels
